Adam White named Midwest Collegiate Conference Golfer of Year



OTTUMWA — Adam White, a 2005 Ottumwa High School graduate, was named Midwest Collegiate Men’s Golfer of the Year for St. Ambrose University in Davenport.

White, a junior, also won the award as a freshman.

White was the top golfer for St. Ambrose at the NAIA National Tournament in Plymouth, Indiana last month, where the Bees finished 14th out of 28 teams.

White finished in 20th place as an individual with a final-round score of 295.

White’s final-season stroke average was 74.2 in 29 rounds. He was named a NAIA second-team All-American and a first-team all-conference selection.
