The recent FBI “sting” operations against child porn rings identified the Internet as the main point of reference regarding such activity.

Fifty years ago, pornography was an illegal, underworld, organized crime industry. But due to Hollywood’s continual cheapening of traditional moral values and the baby boomers’ subsequent moral and intellectual dumbing-down, it has become standard fare in the average Internet user’s home; and in many cases, their places of business as well.

Pornography has rightly been considered taboo among people of faith and traditional moralists. It appeals to the basest of carnal human instincts and has no redeeming spiritual or social value. It has historically served as a catalyst for some of the most heinous human behavior. Presently it is spiking a hugely-disproportionate increase in sex-offense convictions and child abuse/molestation cases nationwide. A recent media study of the top 10 U.S. serial killers in this generation revealed that each individual began his downward social and moral spiral by becoming addicted to soft porn. This infamous roster includes such notables as Ted Bundy, Jeffrey Dahlmer and John Wayne Gacy.

Porn Web sites account for over 50 percent of all Internet revenue; more than 50-cents of every ‘Net subscription dollar goes directly into the hands and ultimately into the pockets of the kingpins of hard-core porn.

Internet porn, until finally checked, will continue to give rise to a disproportionate and exponential increase in sex offenses against children — always the hapless, helpless and hopeless victims of adult excesses and self-indulgence.
