City tree lighting Thursday in Central Park

OTTUMWA — The annual city tree lighting will be at 6 p.m. Thursday in Central Park.

It is hosted by Main Street Ottumwa and Ottumwa Parks and Recreation Department.

Mayor Dale Uehling will throw the switch to light the tree and brighten the park and downtown for the holiday season.

Holiday music will be provided by local choirs to add to the evening’s festivities.

Following the tree lighting, MSO will host an open house at its office, 115 E. Main St.
